We are here to witness the Lord…

What is truly the meaning in this statement? For many, it carries the theme of speaking and testifying in praise of God. Perhaps it is the banner of conversion and saving of souls, leading the so-called lost to the paradise of God found or rediscovered. For some groups it is the call to gather the flock in preparation of the spiritual anointing. The trumpet or clarion call …

Witnessing God is a powerful image and statement. Each of us interprets its meaning in many ways. This is a message to study further.

We can only truly know truth as a result of experience.

Rather than a robe or garment we may wear about ourselves externally without the inner 'knowingness', the act of witness vs. actively witnessing is as sublime as being aware and alert and effecting progressive growth and evolution within us. This message creates a bridge across all religions and cultures, nationalities and races. It is a universal message which states that man's intent of achieving God awareness leads to spiritual discovery which results in witnessing and knowing God within ourselves and becomes a proclamation of who we are.

From Proverbs chapter 4:

"Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law (i.e. universal truth)."

"For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. He taught me also, and said unto me, let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth."

"Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee."

"Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all they getting get understanding."

"Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings: and the years of thy life shall be many. I have taught you in the ways of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be hampered; and when thou runnest, thou shall not stumble."

"Take fast hold of instruction; and let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life."

The child of God in me celebrates and loves the child of God in you. Be truly a witness to God alive. Amen.

God Bless and Namaste' (Nepalese; 'I recognize the Divine in you.')
